The World Bank's official goal is the reduction of poverty. ï  ¶ IBRD- Industrial Bank for Reconstruction & Development. ï  ¶ IDA-International Development Association. ï  ¶ IFC- International Finance Corporation. ï  ¶ MIGA-Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency. ï  ¶ ICSID-International Centre for Settlement of Disputes. The World Bank roads, power plants , schools, dams , bridges , ports and other " infrastructure " projects as governments to finance long -term loans makes . Countries â€Å"structural adjustment programs â€Å"(SAPs) have agreed to accept the World Bank will extend loans only. SAPs democratic debtor countries by people who are not decided upon.
